Our Story

We are a family-owned business rooted in faith, craftsmanship, and stewardship. Jars of Clay Co. began through a shared curiosity between a mother and daughter who wanted simple skincare that worked with the skin, not against it. What began as a practical decision rooted in knowledge and care, led naturally to the creation of a skincare cream that felt nourishing, purposeful, and worth sharing with others. We take pride in sourcing our tallow from our very own cows, raised with care on our farm. We believe that the work of our hands is an offering of worship, and through our products, we strive to reflect the love, patience and care that God calls us to embody. The result is a collection of simple to use tallow creams crafted to fit seamlessly into daily routines.

Our Name

The name Jars of Clay Co. draws its name from the biblical passage from 2 Corinthians 4:7 “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” It reflects a belief that value is not found in excess or embellishment, but in substance- carefully formed, thoughtfully held, and purposefully shared. Our hope is that through each of our tallow products, you experience the richness of God’s provision, care and creative design.
